Photo Contest

The Nicholas Sparks Foundation has launched a photography competition for students who have traveled outside the United States.
Nicholas himself will judge the submissions and choose the photograph that wins the grand prize of $500. The Foundation will showcase all the best photographs on its website.
The theme of this year’s competition is “courage.” The Foundation hopes to inspire students to reflect on the meaning of courage as they explore the world around them.
The motivation for the photography competition grew out of the Foundation’s ongoing support for educational travel programs that help students and teachers broaden their horizons and experience other cultures. With so many students now traveling abroad as part of school programs, our world is being made smaller every day.
The deadline for submissions is May 15, 2014. For more information, click here.
